The shawl in a dark purple / maroon colour for the “Eden’s Garden” piece to add a little colour to the otherwise monotonous winter attire.
The piece is embroidered in bright colours to form slanting stripes through out the shawl. The bright colours against the dark background standout and add instant happiness to any outfit.
The lesser used technique of weaving in shawls, called “chasm-e-bulbul” or “eye of the bulbul”, results in a repeating pattern of Lozenge (diamond) shapes, adding a more depth to the piece.
